DRC Guide

Collect and send money in the Democratic Republic of Congo using Vodacom, Airtel, and Orange. Use country: "CD", phones as +243…, and choose wallet currency with currency: "CDF" (default) or currency: "USD".

DRC essentials

  • Always send country: "CD" for DRC wallet routing
  • Dual wallets: CDF (default) and USD — set currency explicitly for USD
  • Phones use E.164 +243XXXXXXXXX
  • Same endpoints: POST /collect-money and POST /send-money
  • Provider is auto-detected: vodacom, airtel, or orange
  • Subscribe to DRC collection/disbursement services for the currency you use

Collect money (DRC)

Request payment from a customer’s mobile money wallet. Settlements credit the matching CDF or USD wallet.

Send money (DRC)

Disburse from the matching CDF or USD wallet. Always send the same currency you intend to debit.

Check balance (DRC)

GET /balance defaults to the CDF wallet. Pass currency=USD for the USD wallet. The response also includes data.wallets with both CDF and USD.
